For setting up a Limited Company, there is no requirement of the ethnicity of the directors or the shareholders, which means Non-UK Residents can be the directors or shareholders of the company. But there are some legal criteria or conditions:
- The registered address should be a UK address, not a PO Box address.
- At the registered address, you should receive all kinds of postal mail.
- There should be at least one director and one shareholder, and their age should be at least 16 years.
Then after completing the legal criteria, the company will get a Business Certificate, Share Certificate, and Memorandum & Articles of Association in the company’s registered email id. And finally, it will get a Certificate of Incorporation. After getting it, the company can publish its prospectus that will help the public to subscribe to the share capital, and after this, a certificate has to be sent to the Register along with the letter from the bank indicating that the money is earned. Then the Register will check the records and grant a certificate called (Business Start Certificate).
